El Gregario employs top Cyclsists in each area to take visitors through the most scenic routes of each city. If you are visiting Chicago or live there and want to hire a top cyclist to set the route and even draft of him the whole day if necessary, you found the right place

We will provide you with a high-end road bike or mountain bike, a helmet, water bottles and snacks for the ride. You just need to bring your shoes and pedals (or let us know what pedals you use).

How does el Gregario work?

We hire some of the top cyclists in the area, who have good social skills and pay them for their time. Some times they are former professionals, other times business men who love cycling and networking. We try to find the best fit for every rider.

Then we provide the bikes and helmets and transportation. So if you are going to Chicago or the East of Spain and you love cycling, you don’t need to research any more places to rent bikes, or safe cycling routes, or carry a map with you, or bring your bike on the plane, or have to pedal into a head wind by yourself on the way back.

History and Founder

Our Founder, Ruben, was a successful business owner and avid cyclist who struggled in some of his business trips to find the right people and equipment to train. He would spend lots of time researching bike shops that would rent high-end road or mountain bikes, maps with routes, etc. He later started contacting cycling clubs before a trip and see if anybody could show him the best routes in the area. And he wished a company like The Gregario existed, so he could just call them without having to worry about anything else and know he would have a guaranteed amazing experience. With The Gregario, he would not only have a high quality bike, but also a friendly and strong rider that would show him the best local rides and provide a workout as intense as he pleased. And since he could not find a company like that, he decided to do the next best thing: Create it.
